I clicked this bird in Amstelveen. The orange breasted bird was very pretty and sat on the tree while we took lot of pictures.
Pied Bushchat female-
This is a common bird found in South India. I clicked this one near Infosys Campus in Mysore.
Black Drongo-
I pretty much found this bird perched at the same spot whenever I visited the campus for birding. We got tired of taking shots but it never moved from its spot.
Ducks are fairly common in Europe. I took this picture with a prosumer camera in The Windmill Village Zaanse Schans. These birds are very friendly and will come to you if you offer them some food.
Kingfisher-
I found this bird besides the famous kukkarahalli lake in Mysore. These birds are pretty fast and difficult to capture. Usually found near water bodies, these are very colorful and pretty and a delight for the shutter bugs.
Darter-
This is a large sized predator bird found near water bodies. Though I clicked this one at Zaanse Schans but these are very commonly found near Amstelveen.
Seagull -
As the name suggests these birds are found near the sea. I took this picture in Vondel Park in Amsterdam.
I found lots of ducks near the canals in Amsterdam. These birds have lots of fun in the summers. Its a treat to watch them wander around. The male species is pretty colorful. The females do a wonderful dance which can be seen in the next pic.
Wild Duck Female-
The female wild duck is a very interesting bird. The just seam to dance with their wings wide open.

This was clicked in the Kukkarahalli lake in Mysore, India. These are really majestic birds and live in big groups.
Green Barbet-
These are very colorful birds and they are always on the move. It is difficult to take a decent picture of these birds.
